First Communion in St Brigids

First Communion is the next big step along this journey of faith for children who have been baptized. First Confession is received by the children in the weeks prior to their First Communion.

The major part of the preparation for these sacraments takes place in school. This preparation must be supported by lived faith in the home and by a different and more informal preparation in the setting of parish.

Our Faith’n’Fun hour is our way as a parish of supporting the efforts of parents and school in helping form and develop the faith of the children of St. Brigid’s.
